I used a prusik for the rappel for the first 2 raps, but it was taking too long and too slow, so I rappelled the rest with ATC only. John offered a fireman's belay. The three of us always checked each other's systems before John took off first. During the descent, we crossed from one side to the other, revealing our picturesque snow-covered camp in the distance. John turned happy and started to say "party party" and "rope free". I made the last 3 rappels in the dark. 12 rappels were completed. At the last rappell, I found my guide Samson, porter Kevin, and Malla's guide Joseph welcoming us with warm drinks and my headlamp at 7:45pm. What a happy feeling to see them and be back on the ground.

After a short trek, we made it back to camp. I had some food and went to bed. My mind racing with the events that took place today, and my heart, still flying high.
